This week our U-pick flowers fields are open: Friday, August 16th and Saturday, August 17th, 9:00 am -4:00 pm.
We have an incredible abundance of flowers right now. Current blooms includes dahlias, China asters, roses, zinnias, Giant orange marigolds, yarrow, nigella, snapdragons, sunflowers, amaranth, celosia, strawflower, and bupleurum.
The fields are stunningly beautiful with Queen Anne’s Lace in bloom in the pasture and our produce and flower fields full and lush. The zinnias tower over most of our visitors. Bring a camera! The two picnic tables in our flower fields are the perfect place to pause. Our barn is stocked with our produce (including our big, beautiful heirloom tomatoes, pickling cucumbers and bulk bags of Genovese basil) and we have tables and supplies set up inside for bouquet making.
Bring a friend or family member or pick in the fields in quiet meditation. We have everything you need and our window this year for U-pick flowers will last just a few weeks.
We will make every attempt to list our summer U-pick hours in the event section of our website. You may always call, text or email to inquire about these hours or hours that we may choose to make available outside of those posted. Please consider sharing this post and spreading the word.
NOTE: This is where we work, live, love and play. We greatly value the importance of our quiet family time. So, as always, if the gate is closed, our farmstand, and farm, is closed to the public so that the three of us can enjoy family time together. Thank you for your understanding.
